Scientific Notebook allows you to seamlessly create documents containing text, mathematics, and graphics. See how Scientific Notebook works with DBT. Duxbury Systems supports Scientific Notebook 5.5, which is still available as a download. The new version, Scientific Notebook 6.0.2 or above, is compatible with DBT. If you did get Scientific Notebook 6.0, please update to 6.0.2 or above from the MacKichan website, in order to work with DBT.
Math Equation Editor for Microsoft Word Documents
From Wiris: MathType is a powerful interactive equation editor for Windows (and Macintosh) that lets you create mathematical notation for word processing, web pages, desktop publishing, presentations, e-learning, and for TeX, LaTeX, and MathML documents. MathType runs on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. You need to install Mathtype in order to import Word documents with equations into DBT Win 12.5. For more information, see MathType Information from Wiris
Braille Music Translator
From Dancing Dots: This package integrates with Lime and SharpEye music OCR to automate the production of braille music scores. GOODFEEL has been created to increase greatly the number and variety of braille scores while vastly decreasing the amount of time needed to produce them. GOODFEEL runs on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. Version 3.0 features integrated literary Braille translation for most western languages so you can Braille both the words and the tune. Duxbury Braille Translator customers can insert references to Lime notation files into Duxbury print documents for transcription by GOODFEEL to create an integrated braille document with both text and music braille.
