Code Used: [:] [;]
Keystroke: Highlight text and press Ctrl + b
What does it do?
It keeps a group of words and/or characters together as one word
Where would it be used?
Where for example, you wish to make two or more words flush right on a line, or to keep a telephone number on one line.
Usage in DBT:
[fr][:]22 The Lawns[;]
Produces in Braille:
#bb ,! ,lawns
Let us explain!
The [fr] code, without the Group Codes, would force the 22 to the right hand margin, leaving The Lawns at the beginning of the next line. By enclosing the whole address line with the [:] and [;] codes, it is treated as if it was one word.
