For all ViewPlus embossers, Duxbury recommends checking for and using up-to-date drivers from the ViewPlus website and up-to-date Duxbury DBT software.
If DBT has trouble driving your embosser, then operating system security may be the culprit. That is, DBT may not have been granted permission to set the options in the embosser driver. See this topic on Technical Information for this embosser, for help on setting embosser options and giving DBT the necessary access to drive it.
