The set-up of a braille embosser remains more complicated than setting up a printer. Most embossers require more instructions and more steps than the "plug and play" procedure we expect for simple ink-print printers. You should have a manual from your embosser supplier, and you will need to refer to it.
The best resource for assistance setting up your embosser may be the organization that sold you (or provided you with) your embosser. Be sure to retain their contact information.
The Help topics in this area give information about physically connecting the embosser device to DBT, the kinds of switch settings found on many embossers and how to set them for DBT, and where and how to enter the settings in DBT that control the page size and other aspects of Braille output for your embosser.
