The MBOSS-35 is a serial embosser. Use a straight through male-to-female cable to connect the brailler to your PC. There are no DIP switches. All parameter changes are done from an external braille keyboard or from escape codes sent by a computer. The MBOSS-35 is rigged so that its default parameters are: 9600 baud. 8 data bits. 1 stop bit. and no parity (the preferred settings for this software).
