Code Used: [:] [;]
Keystroke: Highlight text and press Ctrl + b
What does it do?
It keeps a group of words (or characters with spaces between them) together as one word.
Where would it be used?
Where, for example, you wish to make two or more words flush right on a line, like an address or a telephone number.
Usage in DBT:
[fr][:]22 The Lawns[;]
Produces in Braille:
#bb ,! ,lawns
Let us explain!
The [fr] code, without the Group codes, would force the next word, 22, to the right-hand margin, pushing the words The Lawns to the beginning of the next line. By enclosing the whole address line with the [:] and [;] codes, it is treated as if it were one word.
