SWIFT 5.0

Send Word (TO DUXBURY) Immediately For Translation.

NOTE: Because DBT was specifically enhanced to support the new features of SWIFT, SWIFT 5.0 only works correctly in DBT 12.2 or above.

This is quite a powerful tool and can save time is preparing documents in Word.

When you run Word for the first time after installing SWIFT, you will be presented with the Options dialog. While you may return to this dialog at any time, you may wish to consider your personal settings at this stage.

You should now find an additional "Braille" ribbon appear as shown here.

When you first select the Braille ribbon with the keystroke Alt + B, it displays as follows showing the quick keys for each option. For example, Alt + B T O will bring up the Options dialog.

Alternatively, if you select the "Braille" tab using the mouse, it is displayed without the keyboard shortcuts.

There are three sections to the Braille ribbon as follows.

1) Document.
2) Output.
3) Tools.

If this is your first time using SWIFT, you may wish to look at the Options settings in more detail.
